Naples' Metro is really a commuter rail line, though it is handy for visitors to zip from Mergellina (where there are some fine hotels) into the center, or from the train station direct to Naples' top sight, the Archaeological Museum.

The Metro in Naples uses the same tickets as the bus/tram system.
