Naples international airport is at Capodichino, a mere 7km (4.3 miles) north of the center. It only takes about 20 minutes to get downtown.

How to get to downtown Naples (or the Naples docks) from the airport

By public transport (from $3)

There's a shuttle bus service run by the public bus system called Alibus (www.unicocampania.it) that leaves roughly every 20 minutes (at least 2–3 times per hour) between 6:30am and 11:39pm.

It takes 15–20 minutes to get from the airport to the first downtown stop at Piazza Garibaldi (by the central train station) then continues on to Piazza Municipio by the Molo Beverello ferry docks and cruise terminal (30–35 min. total).

You can buy tickets (€3) on the bus or at the Sun Store inside the airport.

You could also take city bus 3S, but it is slower and runs every 30 minutes.
