Tranes, buses, and planes into Bololgna, Italy

Flights, including eurofly's (www.euroflyusa.com) new direct flights from New York, land at Aeroporto G. Marconi (tel. +39-051-6479615; www.bologna-airport.it), 8km (5 miles) north of the city. The bus to the train station (tel. +39-051-290290; www.tper.it), a 15-minute ride, runs every quarter-hour from 6:05am to 11:45pm. Trains arrive from and depart for the following major Italian cities almost hourly: Florence (60–90 min.), Rome (3–4 hr.), Milan (1 1/2–2/2 hr.), and Venice (1 3/4–2 1/4 hr.).
