Noto has no hotels in the historic center, but it does have an excellent B&B: Bed & Breakfast Il Giardino del Barocco, at Via Aurispa Giovanni 77 (tel. +39-0931-573-919
or 349-125-5364, www.ilgiardinodelbarocco.it, from €70). It is a homey-yet-elegant place with amazing frescoed public spaces and a lovely grassy garden where you can breakfast in nice weather. The four bedrooms and one suite are fairly large, with modern furnishings mixed in with a few antiques, and each with A/C, satellite TV, telephone, and internet access. Some rooms are bland and functional, but a few have baroque-worthy flourishes, like stone barrel vaulted ceilings or an elaborately painted tile floor. Not bad for €70 a night. » book
There's another one in the center I've stayed at and liked, Arca Rooms B&B, at Via Rocco Pirri 14/8 (tel. +39-0931-838-656 or 333-140-4324). It's rather plainer, but rooms go for about €50 to €65, and you eat breakfast at the outdoor tables of the cafe across the street.
Just up the street, however, is an even better option: a restaurant with an affittacamere (rental rooms) operation called Affittacamere Neas, at Via Rocco Pirri 57 (tel. +39-0931-838-831 or 320-238-9548, www.neas.it, » bookonline from €25) that has nicer rooms and rock-bottom rates, charging just €25 to €40 for a double room.
There are also a couple of other nice B&Bs and one small hotel just on or within the ring road around the centro storico (so technically outside the center, but still just 100m from all the baroque buildings), including the brand-new Hotel Flora at Via Brindisi 3 (» book online from €50) and Bed and Breakfast La Casa Fiorita at Via Principe Umberto 47 (» book online from €85).
